The future of the industry will be the main theme of the Fishery Congress

What awaits the fishing industry in the new decade will be discussed by the participants of the XIV International Fishery Congress, which will be held in Vladivostok from October 3 to 4.

The theme of the fishery congress this year will be “Fish Industry 2020: An Image of the Future.” This issue will be key in the plenary session of the forum, Fishnews reports.

There will also be three sessions. The first one is “Technical modernization of the fishing industry: trend, innovations, world experience”. Equipment, shipbuilding, ship repair – discussion will be organized around these areas.

The second session – “Export of fish products: new opportunities”. The development of international trade is among the national projects announced by President Vladimir Putin. How to fulfill the tasks to increase the return on fish exports, what marketing opportunities to use and what administrative barriers need to be removed will be discussed at the meeting.

The third session is “Aquaculture: Creating the Environment for Sustainable Growth.” The meeting participants will discuss variouss issues of the development of the industry: technology, regulatory framework, insurance.
